Roanoke Rapids Savings is now Riverside Savings Bank. Over the coming months, you will see our Bank transition to the new name. We anticipate our website name changing to our new domain in August, followed by an update to our online banking platforms and mobile app in September. Our new logo will begin to appear on debit cards during the 4th quarter of 2022.

Hello to all:

It has been just over a year since we announced our name change and the opening of our new mortgage office down in Clayton. It is hard to believe how fast time seems to move because it feels like just yesterday we were making these announcements. Fast forward to today, and we are still serving the clients in the Roanoke Valley and our new clients in Clayton at the highest level. As I said when we changed our name, the sign on the building was changing, but the bank’s mission, vision and values were not. We are still the same…same leadership, same people, and the same goal…to serve the folks in our great communities!

Why should you bank with a community bank? Well, for starters, we are closer to our clients than any large bank. Local bankers, making local decisions and providing great customer service. We offer many of the same products and services as the big banks so you’re not “giving up” anything by banking here. Perhaps most importantly, you can be proud that this bank is providing a safe financial institution for your funds, which are reinvested in the communities in which you live, work, and play. We are helping folks buy a house or a car; helping business owners purchase office space or equipment. So your money is staying local!

Finally, Riverside Savings Bank would like to wish everyone a happy Memorial Day! We proudly remember and honor our military personnel who gave their lives for our great country and preserved our freedom!
